Job Summary: The Site Supply Planner will manage the end-to-end flow of raw materials, feedstocks, and finished products; balance capacity, supply and demand of products, manage 24/7 continuous production schedules, ensure regulatory compliance, and optimize inventory to ensure daily chemical operations run profitably.   

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Own all supply chain plan processes and steer critical planning processes for multiple production units onsite.
  • Ensure key assumptions on anticipated production capabilities align closely with forecasts, closely monitor material and product availability, and initiate action to resolve issues quickly.
  • Challenge production and sales forecasts to provide accurate updates to management.  
  • Reconcile logistics data with operations information for scheduled month-end activities.
  • Coordinate logistics of third-party transportation providers and schedule carriers to meet the needs of customers and inventory demand.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to identify critical resources required to establish and provide an effective supply chain.
  • Track transportation activities, analyze planning process effectiveness, report findings and present opportunities for optimization and improvement to management. 
  • Track raw materials, incoming deliveries, company equipment, finished product, and strive to anticipate and prevent shortages.
  • Research and reconcile inventory differences between physical stock onsite and digital stock.
  • Champion and monitor the material requirements planning MRP system, related spreadsheets, and reports for all production tracking and planning.
  • Oversee modifications to current plans to improve efficiency, reduce environmental impact, reduce cost, and implement the proposed changes and improvements.
  • Adhere to timeline and budgetary constraints.
  • Comply with all environmental, health and safety related best practices, policies, and procedures, including process safety management (PSM).
  • Diligently adhere to and fulfill all Responsible Care® requirements, demonstrate a steadfast commitment to safety, environmental stewardship, and ethical practices in all aspects of your position within the organization.
Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, and related software.
  • Ability to adapt methods in response to new information, changing conditions, and unexpected obstacles.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, customers and colleagues in other departments.
  • Must possess the ability to make decisions using discretion and independent judgement with respect to matter of significance.
  • Must be able to work both independently and effectively in teams to meet company goals, departmental objectives and key performance indicators.
  • Embrace multiple assignments with ease in a fast-paced work environment and effectively prioritize work to meet tight deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics or related field.
  • 5 or more years of experience in supply chain, business systems, ERP/RMP implementation or similar role in a chemical manufacturing setting.
  • Knowledge of fundamental business systems and supply chain processes.
